Animal Lifeline UK First Annual Fun Dog Show and Duck Race!
Animal Lifeline UK held it's very first duck race and mini fun dog show on 1st August. Despite the very heavy rain we had a fantastic morning and raised £177.52 to be distributed to four rescues who came down and got involved with the Animal Lifeline UK stall at The Ultimate Pet Show in May.
£40 will each be donated to:

£17.52 will stay in an Animal Lifeline UK 'emergency pot' that any rescues with an urgent case can apply for.

As Animal Lifeline UK is growing rescues are needing our help more than ever before! Please, if you can help in any way, from fostering, homechecking, transporting, if you have any skills you can offer rescues or like to chat about animals then please do log on and see if there is anything you can help with in your area. :pray: We also urge you to fill in the sections in the database in the areas you may be able to help: viewforum.php?f=87 This is vital so that if a rescue has an urgent case near you they can contact you via the Private Messaging system to see if you can help.

Ever considering fostering? Fosterers are currently needed in all areas for all types of animals. If you have space in your home and your life for a foster animal please do let us know. Fosterers are a lifeline for rescues and enable more animals to be helped who there would otherwise be no space for in rescue.

Animal Lifeline UK Duck Race & Fun Dog ShowThank you so much to everyone who sponsored a duck in the race and has taken part in the fun dog show. We have raised a fantastic total of £177.52!
We also have an ALUK 'Emergency Pot' which all of our rescues can apply to for help with emergency cases.
If you wish to contribute towards the work of our rescues we do have a PayPal account. All money goes towards the animal rescues on our site and we will be making regular updates so members can see exactly where this money is being spent.
